Overview

Storage outside the Strait of Hormuz

Fujairah sits on the Gulf of Oman, east of the Strait of Hormuz, which lets loaded tankers call without passing through the Gulf. That geography, together with its anchorage, has made Fujairah one of the world's largest bunkering ports and a standard place for East-of-Suez cargoes to wait, blend or transfer.

Panoramix offers tank storage in Fujairah on spot, seasonal or multi-year terms for diesel, jet fuel A-1, fuel oil and crude oil. Capacity is quoted with berth planning for ships and barges, truck loading and tank-to-tank transfer included in the tariff.

Our inspectors and laboratory settle quantity and quality on site, and a Fujairah release carries the same certificate of analysis and documented chain of custody as a release anywhere else in our network.

Bunker and waiting cargoes

Storage in Fujairah is commonly used for cargoes waiting on firm discharge instructions, for ship-to-ship transfers coordinated from the anchorage, and for bunker supply into one of the busiest fuelling ports afloat.
